This is my photographic print
Here are some of Marc Rothko's paintings from art.com
The weird, the wonderful, the beautiful, the grotesque, everything inspiring for my fashion collection will be in this blog. From the mundane to the magical, enter my world of glamourous outcasts. This collection is inspired by ancient khmer temples, 19th century bohemian artists, film, music art and everything in between.

Ohhhh I love Rothko. He is one of my favourites, I remember learning about him at school, and his paintings were so huge and 'emotional' that people would stand in front of them and break down into tears. The blue seascape series are my favourites. His painting is so layered and textural.
Btw... I think it is spelt Mark with a 'k'
Also, am I the only one who comments on these posts? Hehehe... I am very much interested in providing you with feedback. Really looking forward to seeing how all this research and inspiration you have will come together :)
Also, I really love the image you have chosen. The colours are beautiful! It is for the digital print, yes? What kind of fabrics are you considering printing onto? For some reason I keep seeing it on a shiny silky fabric, but that may distract from the texture of the image when light bounces of the fabric surface.
oh thanks kylie, and yes you are practically the only one who comments. I think a few uni friends have left a comment or two so thanks to them too. im thinking of printing on silk crepe, chiffon and jersey. i dont think i want any shiny surfaces cos it wont go with the aesthetic.
