Kyoto Costume Institute Digital Archive
I recently stumbled upon the Kyoto Costume Institute website, where they have a digital historical archive you can download. It is very easy to browse through, it is categorised into era and its predominate silhouette. It is a great reference to have handy for historical dress. There are so any interesting costumes in this archive from 1700s to 1940s. There's also accessories and footwear.
